Supreem strongly believes in contributing back to the society. We regularly contribute to various local  and national initiatives, organisations and causes through a separate CSR fund setup for the purpose with inputs from our employees. We also encourage our employees to participate in various social welfare activities and events.

Donations

Association of People with Disabilities, Bangalore 

APD, India is an NGO that’s transforming the lives of underprivileged people with disability since 1959. Based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, APD runs extensive programs in rural and urban Karnataka to enable, equip and empower children and adults with a range of disabilities including locomotor, spinal cord injury, speech and hearing, cerebral palsy, and to some extent, mental issues. Till date, APD has impacted 500,000+ lives of people with disability.

Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement (SVYM)

Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement (SVYM)  was started in 1984 by a group of medical professionals led by Dr. R Balasubramaniam. SVYM believes that building human and social capital will result in economic consequences, and all of SVYM’s programs are driven by this development paradigm. With support from the community, working in healthy partnership with the government and corporate sectors and sharing its experiences with like-minded organizations have been the hallmark of SVYM’s evolution over the last 3 decades.

Under the aegis of SVYM, Palliative Care was initiated in 2011 focusing on alleviating sufferings of patients with terminal/chronic illnesses, by providing physical, psychological, economic, social & spiritual support.

SVYM Palliative Care caters to 500 bedridden patients, 876 house visits for patients and 127 patients enrolled during the year.

Nisarga Foundation

Nisarga Foundation (NF) came into being in 1997 with its registration under Indian Trust Act, 1890 and has been working mainly with the tribal population of H D Kote Taluk.

 NF envisages overall development of adivasis, dalits and such of those socially and economically marginalized poor communities through measures of promotion of sustainable agriculture to ensure food security and livelihood, application of appropriate rural technologies, effective and judicious management of natural resources etc.

Empowerment of tribals, promotion of tribal culture and traditional Health, development of primitive tribes, food security and livelihood, women empowerment, strengthening Panchayat Raj Institutions, Child Education, child rights, rights of the disabled, sustainable agriculture advocacy and lobbying, legal aid and networking with other organisations.

Donation to Prime Ministers Care Fund

It is aimed at strengthening the fight against Covid 19  Fund. Enhancing availability of quality treatment, encourage research to find cure for Corona Virus, solve the challenges of the present and protect the future.

Home for Aged

The Congregation of the Little Sisters of the Poor is an International Institute dedicated to the Apostolate of the Elderly Poor. At present there are 204 Homes for the Elderly in 31 countries. 

The home at present offers shelter to 120 elderly persons of both sexes, irrespective of caste or creed, and who are above 60 years of age. They are provided with all the necessities of life. The aim of the sisters is to make the aged feel secure, loved and cared for in their old age. In order to maintain the home, the sisters depend on daily contributions, which they collect in the city, either in cash or kind.

Free Diabetic Camps in adjoining villages

Supreem Pharmaceuticals has always been on the forefront in collaborating with the community with a noble idea of prevention is better than cure.  Aligning with the embarked vision, SPMPL has conducted various medical camps in and around Nanjangud. To mention a few – Heggodipura, Varakodu, Gorur etc.

The team also covered places in Mysore such as Vidyaranyapuram, Saraswathipuram, Kukkalrahalli Lake etc and sensitized the public on Diabetes – control and medication.
