Mrs. Geeta S. Rao has played a pivotal role in the growth and evolution of Supreem Pharmaceuticals. As the spouse of founder and Managing Director Mr. S. N. Rao, her early involvement laid the groundwork for the company’s future expansion and stability. An alumna of the University of Mumbai, Mrs. Rao began her career in the banking sector, serving a decade in a public sector bank where she developed a strong foundation in financial operations. Opting for early retirement through VRS, she committed herself fully to supporting and strengthening the family business.
With over 35 years of multi-functional experience spanning Finance, HR, Warehouse Management, and Administration, Mrs. Rao has been an indispensable pillar in Supreem’s journey. Her financial acumen, strategic insight, and calm stewardship have been crucial in navigating challenges and ensuring operational efficiency. In her current role as Executive Director, she continues to provide strategic direction and governance support at the board level, contributing meaningfully to the organization’s long-term vision and stability.

Mr. Aditya S. Rao, the elder son of Mr. S. N. Rao, currently serves as the Director – Commercial at Supreem Pharmaceuticals. He brings with him over 18 years of hands-on experience across
diverse business functions and has been a key contributor to the company’s strategic and operational growth.
A postgraduate in Commerce from Sydenham College, Mumbai, Mr. Rao also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) with a specialization in Family Managed Business from the prestigious S. P. Jain Institute of Management & Research. Mr. Rao’s professional journey within Supreem has seen him gain cross-functional expertise in Production, Quality Assurance, Warehouse Management, and Marketing. This comprehensive exposure has equipped him with a well-rounded understanding of the organization’s core operations. In his current role, he oversees critical areas such as Finance, Procurement, and Human Resources. He has led several transformative initiatives, including the implementation of SAP and digital automation across manufacturing, as well as innovative HR programs aimed at enhancing employee morale and engagement.
Mr. Rao also plays an active role on the company’s board, contributing to strategic decision-making and long-term planning as Supreem positions itself for future growth and innovation.
Director – Technical, Supreem Pharmaceuticals Mysore Pvt. Ltd.
Mr. Amit S. Rao, the younger son of founder Mr. S. N. Rao, is the Director – Technical at Supreem Pharmaceuticals. A pharmacist by training, he holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysore, and a Master’s in Industrial Pharmacy from Long Island University, New York. Since joining the company, Mr. Rao has acquired deep operational expertise by working across departments such as Quality Control, Production, and Quality Assurance. His strong technical acumen and on-ground leadership have been instrumental during pivotal phases of company expansion.
In Production, he spearheaded the implementation of numerous Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) enhancements, driving notable improvements in output, efficiency, and compliance. His contribution has been central to modernizing the company’s manufacturing infrastructure. In 2022, Mr. Rao was entrusted with leading the newly launched Supreem Super Foods division, focused on the FMCG segment. Under his leadership, the division saw impressive sales growth and widened its market reach. His strategic direction also enabled him to gain valuable insights into the dynamics of the fast-moving consumer goods space.
Currently, Mr. Amit Rao works closely with Mr. Aditya Rao to co-lead Supreem into its next chapter of innovation and market expansion. Ms. Kalavathi H has over 30 years of extensive experience in the organization, which significantly contributes to her leadership role and her ability to mentor and train young professionals within the company.
She is a graduate in Chemistry from the University of Mysore and holds a Certificate in Production and Business Management (CPBM) from SDM College, Mysore. Over the decades, she has gained comprehensive exposure by working across various departments, demonstrating versatility, adaptability, and a deep understanding of the organization’s operational and technical functions.

Currently, Ms. Kalavathi serves as the Vice President – Technical, where she oversees the Research & Development department, focusing on the development of new products, technological innovation, and process improvements. V. K. Shobha, Senior Manager – Marketing, holds a degree in BBM and PCDMM from the University of Mysore. She has further enhanced her professional expertise by completing specialized training in export management from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore. She regularly represents the organization at a wide range of exhibitions, trade fairs, and industry events. Shankara, AGM – Finance, is a commerce graduate from Mysore University with over 21 years of comprehensive experience in the finance sector. Over his extensive career, he has developed specialized expertise in cost management, activity-based costing, GST compliance, and financial management. His in-depth knowledge and practical experience enable him to play a pivotal role in formulating and executing strategic financial planning, budget management, and financial forecasting, thereby supporting the organization’s long-term growth and sustainability.
Shankar’s comprehensive understanding of current financial policies and regulatory frameworks allows him to ensure strict adherence to statutory compliance while optimizing the organization’s financial resources. His proficiency in liaising with various financial institutions, regulatory authorities, and banking partners has been instrumental in securing funding, managing cash flows, and negotiating financial arrangements beneficial to the company.

Shashidhar N is a Pharmacy Graduate from Shardavilas College of Pharmacy, University of Mysore. He has over 25 years of comprehensive, hands-on experience across various critical departments such as Production and Maintenance.
Throughout his career, he has gained a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment handling, maintenance protocols, and operational efficiency, making him a well-rounded professional in the pharmaceutical and manufacturing sectors. His extensive experience has equipped him with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues, streamline processes, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Currently, Shashidhar plays the role of Regulatory Manager, overseeing both customer and supplier audits within the organization. He is actively involved in liaising with various government agencies, playing a pivotal role in facilitating regulatory approvals, inspections, and compliance-related activities. Prior to his current responsibilities, he made significant contributions at Supreem across various projects, demonstrating his technical expertise. This also showcases his ability to oversee complex projects from inception through completion, ensuring they meet desired specifications and operational timelines.
